Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Lyfos platform — whether via the web app, mobile app, or API — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post a notice on the Lyfos website at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. For changes required by law we may apply them immediately. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lyfos. By using the service you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent before creating an account.

Lyfos does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will delete that account and its associated data promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at legal@lyfos.ai.

You agree to use Lyfos only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or defame other users.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or headless browsers to spoof activity data, manipulate the Boundary Score, or abuse integration APIs.
• Transmit malware, spam, phishing content, or any unlawful material through the platform.
• Circumvent or disable any security, authentication, or access controls.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the platform without our written consent.
• Use the service in any manner that could impair its availability or reliability for other users.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Cancel Plan. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time in a billing cycle.

Lyfos connects to third-party services (including Slack, GitHub, Strava, Linear, Jira, Notion, and others) via OAuth on your explicit authorisation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these third-party services. Their availability, terms, and APIs are outside our control.

We expressly disclaim liability for:

• Interruptions, changes, or deprecations to third-party APIs.
• Data returned by or sent to third-party services.
• Loss of data arising from a third-party service change, outage, or revocation of OAuth access.
• Any action taken by a third-party service in response to our API calls on your behalf.

You can revoke any integration at any time from Settings → Integrations. Revoking an integration immediately stops further API calls to that service and deletes the stored OAuth tokens from our database.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lyfos disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.
• Defects will be corrected within any particular timeframe.
• The platform or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.
• The Weekly Recap or any platform metric constitutes professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.

Liability cap = 12 months of fees paid

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cognileap Eduventures LLP's total cumulative liability to you arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the service — including claims in contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise — shall not exceed the greater of:

In no event shall Lyfos be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for certain categories of damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to the arbitration clause in §11, the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms — or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof — shall be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended).

The arbitration shall be:

• Conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by both parties.
• Held in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Conducted in English.
• Final and binding on both parties.

Either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending appointment of an arbitrator. Class-action arbitration is not permitted.
